Many of their descendants served in the U.S. armed forces in some way or another, whether if its was Coast Guard, Navy, Army, or Air Force. Looking at the sons and daughters of Jim and Ala, it would seem that there is the next generation of family members that continue the tradition and remaining legacy of the Wade-McClellan-Holland-Marsh family into the 21st century. Let us remember their family members that have passed the knowledge on that tells the tale of Georgia McClellan moving her family to Iowa and starting a multi-generational legacy of her story from the Battle of Gettysburg.
